Description

This Shigaraki Plate is a plate shaped for serving sushi and sashimi.

Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Japan, each piece is considered a functional work of art. Crafted from pottery, it carries the mark of true craftsmanship — no two pieces are exactly alike. Inspired by Japanese pottery traditions, it's designed for sushi nights at home.

This piece draws on the Shigaraki tradition (信楽), one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, known for unglazed or naturally ash-glazed stoneware shaped by direct contact with wood-fired flame. Learn more about the techniques and traditions behind Japanese ceramics.
