Frequently Asked Questions

We are happy to help you with any questions you may have.

Ordering

How will the new tariffs affect my order?

Beginning August 26, 2025, all orders shipping to the United States will include a 15% or appropriate tariff. To simplify this change, we are moving to a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping policy. This means that customs duties and import taxes are already included in the total amount you pay at checkout.

No surprises, no extra fees upon delivery — everything is taken care of on our website. Sending gifts is also worry-free, as recipients will never be asked to pay duties or taxes when receiving their package.

We hope this update makes shopping with us more convenient and reassuring, and we thank you for your continued support.

Production time varies greatly depending on the item and the artisan’s workload, so they cannot provide us with a specific date. Some products restock within a few weeks, while others may take 2–3 months.

Many of our products come from niche workshops and small-scale kilns with select teams of highly skilled artisans. With expertise honed over decades, these artists put the utmost care into their work so that every detail meets the highest standards.

To maintain superior quality, their work cannot be rushed. We appreciate your understanding of their process and value of their craftsmanship.

To ensure you don't miss out, we recommend preordering your desired items. We do not offer a wait list.

When will my "preorder" ship?

We are very sorry that the order was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

If your order includes both in-stock and preordered items, your entire order will ship once the preordered items arrive at the warehouse.

Please contact us at info@digifist.com if you have any questions or need your in-stock products sooner (additional shipping charges may apply).

We want you to know that we are working on shortening these times and preventing delays. You can find the delivery information of your order in the ‘.....’ section of our website and you can contact us via our WhatsApp support line.

How do I pay for my purchase?

We accept a variety of payments including Apple Pay, Google Pay, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Shop Pay.

Please note that Ishi no KA is a Japan-based company. If your credit card company charges a foreign transaction fee for international purchases, we are unable to refund this fee. However, many credit cards do not charge foreign transaction fees, so you may want to check for available options.

We also accept Ishi no KA gift card payments except for preorder items.

When can I modify and cancel an order?

You can cancel an item or your order before it’s packed and processed for shipment.

You will receive email updates from order confirmation to delivery, so you're aware of the current status of your order.

How do I modify or cancel my order?

If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us at info@digifist.com with your request. We will typically respond within 1–2 business days.

The name Ishi no KA (石の火) means “the fire of stone.”
